"We are grateful to God for the two hundred plus souls that were saved and the over one thousand decisions of rededication and assurance. Many pastors and lay people have remarked about the Godly power that accompanied each of Dr. Hunter's messages. I personally have never heard God's Word preached with such clarity and power."

GREAT SPIRITUAL AWAKENING COMES TO DIXIE COUNTY, FLORIDA

"On Sunday, March 22, people from Cross City, Old Town, and surrounding communities attended the first night of a 5-day Area-Wide Crusade and celebration of faith and spiritual awakening.

Sponsored by Southern Baptist Churches as well as churches of several other denominations, the crusade geared toward bringing people to Christ and to a better way of life.

Harold Hunter, evangelist from Nashville, Tennessee was the speaker. John Bos of the E.J. Daniels Organization in Orlando, Florida led in the organization and directing of the crusade. Total attendance surpassed 10,000.

The big tent was filled to capacity night after night as the crusade became the "talk of the area". What was even more exciting is that literally hundreds of people made spiritual commitments of various kinds. According to Tommy Cooper, Chairman of the crusade's personal workers committee, there were over 300 professions of faith.

The concept of the crusade started with a small group of people who had a burden to see a great spiritual event come to this area. Others joined in prayer. John Bos later came to explain the program to a group of ministers. God took it from there!

It was exciting to see so many members of the community reaching out to the lord for guidance in their lives. Amid the problems of flooding in the area, the people rallied and brought their unsaved loved ones and friends. Some of the area's most notorious anti-religious people came to the Lord.

Pastors of the participating churches declared unanimously that the crusade was the greatest religious event ever to come to this part of Florida, and attracted larger crowds than even most popular sports events.

According to John Bos, "We had everyone from children to adults coming to the Lord. It was thrilling to see every trained counselor dealing with inquiries night after night.

Pastors declared that the crusade was the greatest spiritual gathering in the history of the area. Many considered the most 'hardened sinners' came to Christ during the five day event."

"On Sunday, 3,000 people were drawn to the Stephenson County Fairgrounds.

No matter what denomination to which you may belong or how you may choose to worship God, we would all agree that the basic values promoted by religion are good for society. And we seem to have been drifting away from many of those values.

During Crusade for Christ, evangelist Harold Hunter declared that we experience suffering because we've lowered our standards.

It doesn't seem that Americans are holding to the values our parents and grandparents tried to impress upon us. With the visiting crusade we see signs that some of us may be interested in returning to the core values which give us strength. And that's a hopeful sign.

Seeing thousands of people drawn to the Crusade for Christ makes us hopeful that more of us are 'seeing the light.' These are trying times. Signs of hope may not be abundant, but it's important that we try to keep the faith."

Comments on the Local Church Crusades

"We recently had Dr. Harold Hunter and Gary and Kathy Miller here for a crusade for Christ. We had a glorious, Spirit-filled time in the Lord!

The preaching was inspired and so was the music. Our people here in Nashville, Arkansas responded with enthusiasm to the leadership of these servants of God! The church is wanting them to return and lead us again.

We had the altar filled during the invitation every service. Many were saved. Many rededicated their lives. Many were baptized. Dr. Hunter knows how to preach the Gospel of Christ and apply it to daily life. The music lifted our thoughts to Jesus!

We highly recommend this Evangelistic Team to any church any where! God's anointing is upon them!"

"In late 1998 God began to lead us as an Association to host an Area-Wide Crusade. We earnestly desired for God to do a God-thing in both the believers and the lost persons lives.

God lead us to Dr. Harold Hunter. All the way through the process of organizing the Crusade, Dr. Hunter and John Bos kept us focused on the Lord. We prayed and fasted and held to the promise of Habakuk 1:5 "I am going to do a work in your day that you will not believe if it was told you."

On August 8-12, 1999, as the Crusade followed the course God had laid out, we saw God do His thing. 126 professions of faith, many more rededications, healing of relationships between pastors and churches...all by the hand of God. Far after the crusade was over God continued to harvest.

God used Dr. Hunter and his team to draw men and women to Himself. Prayerfully consider Dr. Hunter. He is a man who loves the Lord and desires to see all men come unto the Father."

Fayetteville, Tennessee

"God gave us the greatest revival in the storied history of the Rose Hill Baptist Church. The altar was filled nightly with people coming to Christ and believers getting right with God. Each night attendance records were broken as people came to hear Dr. Hunter preach and to see God work. I was truly amazed each night to see so many non-Christians brought by concerned friends and relatives. They heard preaching that called unbelievers to Christ and Christians to holy living.

Would I invite Dr. Hunter back to my church? Absolutely! He's already booked. I have longed to find an evangelist who has the dual gift of being a harvester of souls and a revivalist for the church. I truly praise God for raising up Dr. Harold Hunter for such a time as this."

"It has been two months since Harold Hunter was with us and we are still reaping the benefits of his ministry among us. 53 professions of faith and 49 other recorded decisions were registered during our four-day meeting. I can tell you that my people would welcome Harold Hunter back to our pulpit regularly."

Comments on Dr. Hunter's High School Assembly Presentations

"Paul G. Blazer High School was most fortunate to have Dr. Hunter as a guest speaker in a school assembly. As a speaker, Dr. Hunter is sincere, enthusiastic, and understandable. He seems to have a knack for speaking to teenagers on their level. Dealing with the serious topic of teenage suicide in America, Dr. Hunter's concern and compassion was evident. He supported his words with many real life illustrations that caused his audience to give their complete attention. The impact of Dr. Hunter's words in the faculty and students has remained positive and memorable."

"Being a strong supporter of separation of church and state, I was somewhat uneasy when asked to allow Dr. Harold Hunter, evangelist, to come into my high school and talk about teen suicide and pressures. Dr. Hunter had no trouble whatsoever making the separation. His assembly program message was one of the best I have ever heard. He totally captivated our 950, 10th-12th grade students. His message was excellent and we will never really know, but probably saved some young lives."
